The Community Futures Wild Rose Lending Program

• Community Futures Wild Rose provides small businesses with access to capital that might not otherwise be available from other financial institutions.
• Community Futures Wild Rose lending practices are directed by the Community Futures Wild Rose Program through Western Economic Diversification Canada, at reasonable terms and conditions for business ventures that:
  • Can demonstrate viability. o Will generate and/or maintain local employment in communities within the Community Futures Wild Rose region.
  • Will have a positive benefit to the community at large.
• Loan applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and the business must be within the Community Futures Wild Rose region.
• The Community Futures Wild Rose office may provide business advisory and technical services to small businesses and potential entrepreneurs in the Community Futures Wild Rose region. These services can include (but are not limited to):
  • Access to Business Loans:
    • Quick Cash Loans up to $5,000 (special loan application needed, ask our office) 
    • Community Business Beautification Loans up to $10,000 (special loan application needed, ask our office)
    • Working Capital Loans up to $25,000
    • Youth loans up to $25,000
    •  Commercial loans normally up to $150,000
    • Entrepreneurs with disabilities loans up to $150,000
  • Business Services including:
    • Business and Financial Planning assistance
    • Analysis and Coaching of Cashflow and Financial Projections.
    • Examination of Marketing Plans and Market Research.
    • One-on-one coaching and mentoring available.
    • Referral information 
  • Entrepreneurial Training Programs:
    • Regional workshops and special presentations.
